So you are wearing a black power suit, but what color is your bag? Your bag is not just for hauling papers around, it’s part of your business outfit. Maybe your business suit is in a dark, traditional, conservative color, but your bag can be a in a strong bright color. It doesn’t necessarily have to match your shoes – it can speak on it’s own. Let your bag do some “talking”. It’s one accessory that can accessorize all by itself.

Yes, with a buisness suit the rule about shoes and bag matching applies still. But the rule can be bent as long as the shoes and the bag doesn’t clash completely. (And for casual wear that rule doesn’t apply at all.)

I love colourful bags and they’re great for jazzing up a dark coloured suit. The red one here looks great.
